Following in the footsteps of artists from the the Renaissance through to the early 20th Century, students will work with live figure models to study form, light and anatomy.
Starting with quick poses, students will develop a sense of gesture, balance and rhythm in the figure.
As the term progresses, students will work from the same pose over multiple weeks to create increasingly developed drawings, finishing the term with several complete works.
